How to zoom in on a spot with Sony Vegas 8 Pro?
I’ve started to use Sony Vegas 8 Pro to do some video editing, ive got the basics down, but i want to know how to zoom in on a particular spot on the video, for example i want to zoom in on the top right hand corner of the screen to give someone a better look at whats there.
first you should know every thing about kayframes if not press F1 button and use Sony Vegas help.
now you know every thing about keyframes. you can see a white tiny button on each clip, click on it. if you can’t find it right click on the clip and choose pancrop. add a keyframe in the time you want to start zooming and add one on the MAX zooming time you also need to add one in the end of zooming time after you did it all choose the MAX zooming keyframe and change width and height to a lower size. you can also change X and Y to move your screen while zooming. it’s done.

What free video editing software can I use that when i zoom in the picture will be clear?
Windows Movie Maker is not that cleared zoomed in.
I don’t think getting new software will help, sounds like the resolution of the video is pretty low. All video will distort after zooming in so much.
