Is it safe to copy a VHS to DV tape if tape has a “VCR Virus” Warning?
I have a VHS that I archiving for educational purposes for a university, and on the VHS, there a “Do Not Copy” warning at the beginning, saying that there is a “VCR Virus” on the tape that will cause harm to the copying VCR. Is this something that will affect copying it to a DV tape? I have it a duel DV/VCR deck. Will this cause harm?
Go to a Donation type store and buy a used VCR and use that and see what happens. Cloning a copyrighted tape usually involves using a little gadget.

How do i transfer DVD movies onto vhs (VCR) tapes without using combo device?
“Do not have equipment to copy CD-to-CD”….(for those of you who ask: “WHY” would i chose to down-grade from digital???
Is this posible?
Simple. You cant.
The media used on a dvd is different from a vhs, the only way to transfer is by recording from playback.
